Alternative medicine is a practice of consuming a medicine without the use of drugs. This may involve herbal medicines and supplements, self-awareness techniques, biofeedback systems, or acupuncture. With alternative medicines, a person becomes an active participant in techniques involved in curing oneself and learns to understand bodily functions and how it relates to their health.
Nature has an important role in the usage of different herbs, fruits, elements of detox, and vitamins for purification, stimulation and healing. Many people are turning towards alternative medicine and natural therapies for prevention of illnesses and solving their everyday health concerns. This does not mean that allopathic medicine does not have a place in health and healing but it is typically reactive rather than proactive.
The various forms of alternative medicine branch out from Eastern and Western whole medical systems. Eastern forms include traditional Chinese medicine and Ayurvedic medicine, from ancient Indian traditions. Western forms include areas of naturopathy and homeopathy.
We definitely would like to bridge the gap to show how alternative medicine can improve your overall health while still using conventional medicine when it is absolutely necessary and in many cases, using alternative medicine as more of a complementary form of medicine.
